Lucifuge Rofocale
The Book of Ceremonial Magic
I was curious to find out if the conjuration that Cabal uses to call upon Lucifuge Rofocale was based in fiction or pulls from a real source.
After doing some research on the names used in the conjuration, I managed to find out that the conjuration is real!
Johannes mutters the Grand Conjuration with names such as: Oarios, Almoazin, Arios, Membrot Janna, Etitinamus, Zariatnatmix – These names are directly from The Book of Ceremonial Magic – Including the Rites and Mysteries of Geotic Theurgy, Sorcery, and Infernal Necromancy by Arthur Edward Waite (1911). It is the Third conjuration of the Mysteries of Infernal Evocation.
